Avicii Invector is a rhythm action game developed by Hello There Games and published by Wired Productions, featuring the music of Swedish superstar DJ, Tim Bergling, better known by his stage name, Avicii. The game offers players six themed worlds, each with four to five songs to play. There is no online multiplayer, but it does support local four-player splitscreen, potentially making it a great party music game among the likes of Rock Band.
AVICII Invector Encore Edition - Hello There Games
Development began back in 2015 when Avicii met with fellow Swedish video game developer, Hello There Games. Avicii wanted to make a game where fans could “explore his music while enjoying serene visualscapes.” The game actually launched during his lifetime but saw a limited release only on the PS4. Hello There Games had more ideas for the game but stopped after feeling numb due to Avicii’s passing.
However, once Hello There Games heard about the Tim Bergling Foundation, they partnered up with the foundation and headed back into the studio to revitalize the game. The team refined the gameplay, overhauled the visuals, added more songs and a new world, relaunching the project in 2019 on more platforms.
