LVL UP EXPO 2020 - “You’ve arrived at the number one video game, technology, comics, and anime convention in Las Vegas“
/LVL UP EXPO Recap
The LVL UP EXPO is one of the biggest conventions centered around video games, anime, and technology in Las Vegas, Nevada. The annual event features a variety of entertainment and interactive experiences. Everything from retro games, video game tournaments, virtual reality, pro wrestling matches, vendors, voicing anime, cosplay, and special guests.
Throughout the three-day event, multiple panels featuring the voices behind your favorite anime and video games were the main headliners. One of the major panels were hosted by Troy Baker and Nolan North—the two guys that voice everyone in video games. Some veteran voice actors took over the anime panels, including Steve Blum (Cowboy Bebop), Chris Sabat (DBZ, FMA, MHA), and Sean Schemmel (DBZ).
But if panels aren’t your thing, there’s an exhibit hall, full of the vendors and video games, housing the majority of the convention. Notable vendors included retro video games, anime-inspired streetwear clothing, a bunch of pins and stickers, and an assortment of impressive prints by a lot of creative artists. There’s also the appeal of cosplaying—some people just want to dress up and have a fun time at the expo.
